Country Valley is a small, family owned business with our head office located in Picton NSW, a town in the Wollondilly Shire.  We and our ancestors have been farming in the same location since 1855.  We commenced initially processing our own milk in 2004, and then once sales began to grow, sourced milk from other small dairy farms in the local area.  We pay these farms above the market rate for their milk which has enabled them to increase on-farm revenue and the financial viability of their farms. We have a close, personal, working relationship with all our farmers and meet with them regularly. Our philosophy has always been about paying a price that is fair, equitable and sustainable to our farmers.

We produce a range of products including: full cream, lite, skim and unhomogenised milk in a variety of sizes as well as full cream and lite organic milk.  We also produce natural and sweetened yoghurt and fresh cream. We have recently added a range of specialty cheeses. Since 2005 we have been entering our products in the Sydney Royal Cheese and Dairy Produce Show winning numerous gold and silver medals as well as: Champion Milk twice, Champion Yoghurt four times and the prestigious President’s medal in 2008 for our natural yoghurt.  We were also awarded Most Successful Milk Exhibitor in 2011.  Our products contain no additives and are processed minimally to create beautiful fresh products which are highly sought after.

We have a distribution outlet in Canberra which operates from a warehouse in Fyshwick, which employs local people.  We are one of only a small handful of Australian owned, fresh milk producers in NSW, as all the major players are now foreign owned.  We continue to operate our own dairy farm, of which our son is now manager, and supply to our processing plant.

We will also be selling a range of unsalted and salted cultured butter produced by Pepe Saya, made exclusively from our cream.
