Patisserie Valerie is a local business crafting chocolates and patisserie items in a Narrabundah studio for the past 2 years. Twenty plus years of passion and experience goes into making my products.
Patisserie Valerie is a family affair, with myself creating the chocolates and my mum Gislene, (who many Canberrians would recognise as “Madam” from the Croissant D’or which was in the family for 35 years) delicately packaging my goodies and helping with sales.
David Evans my partner is the IT support and Madeleine my daughter is the taste tester, making sure everything is up to standards.
Currently you’ll only find my chocolates at the Capital Region Farmers Market, Old Bus Depot Markest and with a website on its way…
Patisserie Valerie strives to use as many Australian products in our chocolates as possible with a strong commitment to helping aussie farmers.
Unfortunately the chocolate itself isn’t Australian but I use a quality Callebaut couverture from Belgium, fair-trade where possible.
