Open Face Bagel Sandwiches topped with the following options:
Avocado and Poached Eggs – Avocados will be sourced from the avocado vendor at the Capital Region Farmers Market and Eggs from Gunning’s Bum Nuts.
Burnt Orange and Brie – Oranges will be sourced locally when available seasonally and am looking to source our cheeses from Country Valley.
Nutella and Strawberries – Strawberries will be sourced locally when available, and when out of season, the fruit topping will rotate to assure we are using, fresh and local produce.
Pialligo Estates Bacon with Tomato – Will we source our smoked bacon from Pialligo Estates and our tomatoes will be local, heirloom tomatoes.
The Veggie Patch – Curried Cauliflower, Sugo, Greens, and Dukkah – we will continue on our mission of sourcing all produce and ingredients responsibly and locally.

My name is Aaron Fain, the head chef of LSB. Myself and my wife Katie Klik Fain are the owners, operators, and heart of Love Street Bagels. From a very young age, I have loved cooking. I used to pull a milk crate up to the stove to “help” my mother with whatever she was whipping up in those East Tennessee mountains. My passion started from that young age, growing up on Love Street in a small town called Erwin. Through a long and exciting journey, time has brought me here, doing what I love to make my customers smile.
Love Street Bagels (LSB) focuses on providing Canberra with authentic New York bagels – dense and chewy on the inside, golden and crunchy on the outside. Our bagels are made fresh daily with a recipe that has been developed and honed over several years. Our bagels, open-faced bagel sandwiches, and schmears bring together Australian and American classics with a gourmet twist. Our business is proudly based in Canberra. As a mobile food vendor, we attend many markets, but will now be calling the grounds at the Capital Region Farmers Market our home.
At the CRFM, we will be serving up several traditional bagel flavours; plain, everything and blueberry. We will be serving these bagels toasted with a cream cheese schmear or as original open-faced bagel brekky sandwiches. For example, we’ll be serving up Avo and Poached Egg on a plain bagel or Nutella and Strawberries on a blueberry bagel.
We will also be offering our bagels and schmears prepackaged for customers to take home and enjoy in any number of unique ways.
Our eggs, produce, bacon and other viable ingredients are sourced locally through Pialligo Estates, Ainslie Urban Farms, Hilltop’s Free Ranged Eggs, and other local producers.
