Mad About Chai is about sharing the cup of euphoria that made me first fall in love with chai. In creating the Mad About Chai blends, I started out just trying to accentuate what I loved most about chai, and to reduce the things I enjoyed the least about less enjoyable blends. I found the key for me, was to limit the amount of tea, and be generous with the spices, and even though cardamom is one of the most expensive spices to buy these days, it shouldn't be skimped on. Each of the blends is made using organic whole spices, and once you've tasted it, there's no going back. I have never been a fan of substitutes for my cooking, and chai is no exception to that rule, so Mad About Chai blends do not add powders, syrups, or extracts. We don't add sugars (except if I'm brewing you a cup) and we don't use artificial sweeteners or any added flavours.Committed to being environmentally responsible, Mad About Chai provides biodegradable paper bags, or reusable glass jars that are just perfect for keeping your delicious chai fresh.
