Just a reminder that the Market will run as usual right through until Saturday 21 December.
We will then be closed for two weeks, reopening in 2014 with the first market back on Saturday 11 January.
We hope to see you from now until Christmas, and then welcome you back in the New Year.
The EPIC Café, run by EPIC and onsite at the Market, is currently closed and will continue to be closed up until and including Saturday 24 August. The Market would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however we’re sure you’ll find plenty of tasty goodies on offer from our many regular stallholders. Head on over to Frugii who, in addition to their amazing ice creams are now offering steaming hot chocolates to warm you up. You can always grab a great coffee from Jindebah and Wagonga Coffee too. The Brathaus will also be offering seriously good bacon and egg rolls so there’s plenty of good food to fill those hungry tums on a Saturday morning at the Market.
Easter in the Nation’s capital means it’s the National Folk Festival time. It’s an iconic Canberra event, bringing with it song, dance, performers and art. And it’s all happening at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) from 28 March to 1 April 2013.
Consequently, there will be NO Capital Region Farmers Market on that weekend. However, the Market will continue as usual the following weekend (Saturday 6 April 2013), so make sure you stock up on your fresh Farmers Market produce!
It’s that time of year again — time for showbags, sideshow alley, animal displays and cake decorating competitions. That’s right; the Royal Canberra Show will be held at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) on the weekend of 22-24 February 2013.
As a result, there will be NO Capital Region Farmers Market on that weekend. However, it will be business as usual the following weekend (Saturday 2 March 2013), so make sure you roll-up, roll-up on 2 March to get your Farmers Market fix!
