We’re proud to announce a major award for our resident Oyster man, Tall Paul. Not only does this guy have beautiful Sydney Rock Oysters farmed on the Clyde River at Batemans Bay, but he’s just received a Bravery Medal from the Governor General of Australia, Her Excellency Quentin Bryce. Modest as ever, it’s all in a day’s work for our favourite oyster farmer – “Yes it is a Bravery Medal and I received it because I pulled the driver of a crashed fuel tanker to safety while 20 000 litres of fuel were pouring out of it. What can I say? He needed help and I was the only one there. So we both lived and we’re both still here”, he said. Congratulations Paul!
