This month we share our recipe for Roasted pears and apples (pg. 127 of the recipe book) – fitting as we’re coming into our peak season for apples and pears at the Market.
Ingredients:
*Packhams, Josephine or d’Anjou pears
**Rome Beauty or Mutzu apples
Method:
– Heat oven to 200°C. Peel, core and quarter apples and pears.
– Melt butter and honey together in microwave. Gently stir with thyme through the pears and apples.
– Place on a baking tray and bake for 35 minutes until cooked and golden.
– Serve with a hot roast meal.
