Please familiarise yourself with the Rules and Code of Conduct for Buskers performing at the Capital Region Farmers Market.
- Buskers must have their own Public liability insurance of $20 million (no episodic insurance available).
- Buskers may only perform between 08:00 and 11:00.
- Buskers must pay a nominal fee of $5.00 per event.
- Buskers must contact management by Wednesday prior to the Saturday they wish to perform. Only 2 acts may appear each event. Any busker appearing onsite without prior approval may not be able to perform.
- In the case where more than 2 acts request permission to appear at the one event, it will be left to management’s discretion as to who may perform.
- Buskers must perform at a good standard of playing/performing. If not, buskers may be asked to leave.
- Only persons 18 years or above may busk.
- No amplifiers allowed and volume must be kept to a minimum.
- Entertainment must be suitable for a Farmers Market and family orientated setting.
- No swearing or profanity.
- No buskers may perform within the sheds unless given specific approval by management.
- If selling goods (e.g. CD’s) buskers must pay a fee of $25.00 in addition to the busker fee of $5.00.
- Buskers must not perform within 10 metres of a stallholder.
- Buskers must not encroach on any thoroughfare or cause disturbance to any patron, stallholder or passer-by.
- Buskers must abide by any instruction given by Rotary members or management. Any busker not abiding by those instructions will be asked to leave and will not be granted re-entry.
