River Road Nursery

River Road Nursery in Oaks Estate, Canberra, specializes in growing quality plants available to the public at wholesale prices.  As a locally owned and operated plant production nursery, we have been providing the Canberra community with our plants for over 30 years.

Our plants are grown at our nursery in Oaks Estate and have been acclimatised to the specific Canberra conditions.  The range of plants on offer includes everything from tubestock to established ornamental trees in 100ltr bags.

Ornamental Trees -crepe myrtle, magnolia, crab apple, purple flowering plum, manchurian capital and cleveland select pears, many varieties of maple trees, silver birch, golden elm, golden ash, silk tree, claret ash, cedrus deodora plus many more.

Citrus - Lemons (Meyer, Eureka), Limes (Tahitian & Kaffir), Mandarins, & Cumquats and dwarf varities.

Perennials - hellebores, lavender.

Roses - bush and climbing.  Rose petals also available for special occasions (weather permitting).

Fruit trees - bare rooted (in season) & potted. Varieties include: cherry, apple, pear, apricot, plum, nashi pear, pomegranate, nectarine, mulberry, peach, peacharine, prune, olive trees, fig, dwarf peach & nectarine.

Hedging Plants - pittosporums (silversheen and green pillar), photinia, buxus varieties, chinese star jasmine, nandina domestica & moonbay, osmanthus fragrans, viburnum tinus & odoratissium and a range of native plants.

Strappy leaf plants - liriope, day lillies, blue eyed grass, cordyline
