You could score the season’s first cherries on us!
After what has been a very challenging few months for us all, can there be a more joyous welcome back to Market for our many customers, farmers and producers than with the launch of the 2021 cherry season!
Cherries! How good are they?! So red, so juicy, the perfect mix of sweet and tart. A joy to devour, and a fruitful announcement that the festive season is upon us.
Our region is fortunate to be near some of the greatest cherry-growing districts in Australia, and our cherry growers Hill Lock Orchard, Drive In Orchards and Torry Hill Orchards will have the most delicious cherries on offer when the cherry season launches at Market on Saturday 20th November with Thornbrook Orchard cherries from 27th November followed not long after by Willayoung Orchard.
Celebrate the start of this wonderful fruit season with us with your chance to WIN the first boxes of the season.
The Market has fifteen (yes,15!) boxes of new-season cherries on offer for our Market friends to win. They’re the first of the season and sure to brighten your day!
You have two ways to enter:
- Enter online* using the form below – 5 boxes will be drawn from our online entries on Friday 19th November, winners must collect at Market Saturday 20th November. OR
- Visit the Market in person – 10 additional boxes will be up for grabs on Saturday 20th November. Visit our Market, head to our dedicated cherry stall and display, leave your name and email address to receive a raffle ticket. Tickets will be drawn every half hour from 7.30am with the winners announced over the Market PA system. You must be there to collect in person – choose between selecting a box of cherries to take home today or a voucher to enjoy Thornbrook Orchard or Willayoung Cherries from the 27th November.
* Competition closes 10am on Friday 19th November. Five lucky winners will be drawn from our online entries following that time and winners notified. Winners must collect their boxes of cherries at the Market on Saturday 20th November from our cherry stall and display between 7.00am and 11.30am.
