We’re excited to welcome another two stallholders into the Capital Region Farmers Market fold this month, with skilled artisan cheese makers, Coolamon Cheese Co. and pastured free range eggs from Long Paddock Eggs.

Coolamon Cheese Co. is located in the centre of the idyllic, country village of Coolamon in the heart of the Riverina, an area known for its abundance of high-quality produce, in particular dairy. Founded by passionate and highly skilled artisan cheese makers and supported by the progressive local community and shire council, Coolamon Cheese Co creates an innovative range of handcrafted cheeses that are a sensual delight, such as the double style ‘De-Brie’, ‘The Rock’ – a blue vein cheese and ‘Belle Isle’ – a soft blue cheese with a range of Australian native flavours. Long Paddock Eggs is a pastured free range egg business producing quality eggs in a highly ethical production system which focuses on the welfare of the hen in its natural environment. Owner, Amanda Mutton, brings her fresh eggs to Market each week from her farm which is located not far from Bungendore near Canberra, eggs don’t come much fresher!
