A mini Multicultural Festival at the Market

A mini Multicultural Festival at the Market

This weekend, Canberra is buzzing with excitement as it celebrates the annual Multicultural Festival, but did you know that every Saturday at the Market is like a mini multicultural celebration in its own right?

Market stallholders represent over 22 different nationalities, and our Market is a real melting pot of cultures, flavours, and traditions. From farmers with roots in Lebanon, Afghanistan, Cyprus, Holland, Myanmar, the USA, and China, to bakers, chefs, and producers bringing the best of their heritage to Canberra, our Market offers a true taste of the world in one place. It’s a celebration of diversity, and an opportunity to connect with a wide array of cultures.

If you’re craving a culinary adventure, you won’t have to look far. You can indulge in an Egyptian pastry, French crepes, Hungarian goulash, German bratwurst, Viennese shortbread, or Indian curry. We also have fresh Italian pasta, Greek baked goods and pastries, Chinese dumplings, Japanese gyoza, and Turkish gözleme, all made local with love.

While the city is alive with the Multicultural Festival this weekend, why not start your Saturday with us at the Market, where culture, community, and fresh produce come together every week? It’s a perfect way to immerse yourself in the flavours of the world, without even leaving Canberra.

Join us this Saturday, 7-11:30am at EPIC, and taste the world right here in Canberra.
