Since 2016, Fungi Co has been proudly based in Canberra, producing fresh gourmet mushrooms and mushroom products, including DIY mushroom grow kits. Throughout 2022, we collaborated with Dr. Noel Arrold, a pioneer of the Australian exotic mushroom industry since the 1980s. His business, Li-Sun Exotic Mushrooms, has operated for three decades in the historic disused railway tunnel in Mittagong.
As of June 1, 2023, Fungi Co acquired Li-sun Exotic Mushrooms.
Dr. Arrold entrusted us to continue his legacy of providing high-quality mushrooms to Australians and educating the public about the fascinating world of mycology. Additionally, we have broadened the range of fresh mushrooms grown at the Mittagong Mushroom Tunnel.
Our production facility is supported by our research facility located at 364 Fairbairn Avenue, Pialligo (ACT).
