It’s that time again. Time to welcome back the fungus among us.
These culinary delicacies are ready and waiting for you at the Market over the coming weeks. We’ve got a brand new truffle supplier this season – La Truffiere. With a chemical free truffle farm in Wamboin, their trees produce the Perigord black truffle. At the Market they’ll have the truffles themselves, as well as truffled products including oil, butter, sugars and salts, plus truffled cookies, preserved truffles and desiccated truffle. All products are free from artificial colours and flavours.
Terra Preta Truffles from Reidsdale in NSW will have black truffles on offer, and Turalla Truffles from Bungendore will have Black French Truffles. As is the case every year with truffles, get in quick as supplies of these flavour-packed gems are limited.
