NEW: Savoury snacks from Willow Kitchen

New stallholder, Willow Kitchen, set up at the Capital Region Farmers Market with samplesSesame and oregano lavosh, cheese and rocket scones, zesty shortbread. Hungry yet? You will be when you see these savoury delights from Market newcomer, Caitriona Twyford, and her Willow Kitchen range.

Caitriona is a local from Jerrabomberra who, after receiving countless compliments from friends and clients on her food offerings, wants to share her most popular recipes at the Market. Her range also includes Caraway shortbread, savoury digestives, date and orange scones, pumpkin scones and oatcakes.  The real flavour kicker, they’re all made from spelt flour – a healthier alternative to modern white flour.

Spelt is an old fashioned flour that hasn’t been altered by food producers and is still the same today as it was in 5000 BC. All of the Willow Kitchen range is made with natural products – you definitely won’t see these tasty savoury snacks in your supermarket.

Come and have a taste on your next visit to Market.
