Join us for a special edition Market, our Market in Bloom, on Saturday 28 September, as we celebrate Spring and the joys of gardening.
Created to celebrate our love of Canberra’s favourite annual flower and gardening show, Floriade, our event gives a nod to this year’s Floriade theme, Art in Bloom.
We’re bringing together a whole lot of local plant growers who manage everything themselves, so you know you’re getting top-quality cold-climate plants perfect for our Canberra environment.
Market in Bloom will be a great alternative to major nurseries, with several growers onsite to provide the best local plant advice.

All our growers are experts in their horticultural niches, and you can find a great variety of plants including cold-climate natives, potted colour, bulbs, herbs and vegetable seedlings, shrubs and trees, as well as some rare and hard to find plants.

Because we have the most creative shoppers in Canberra, we’ll bring the music and fun for the whole family including:
- ABC Radio will be broadcasting live from the market! Catch Emma and Willow as they present Saturday Gardening (be sure to bring in all your plant related questions!) from 8.30am at the market.
- Kids arts and crafts activities including face painting.
- Watercolour painting – paint your own Capital Region Farmers Market postcard celebrating 20 years of supporting the community and still growing strong!
- Educational talks from the Rotary Club of Hall about the exciting environmental projects funded by stallholder fees at the Market.
