Our 20th Birthday Cake Competition - winners!
On our 20th Birthday celebrations on 16th March 2024, we put the call out to our community for a cake competition!
And our community more than delivered!
With 8 cakes in the adult category and 5 in the children’s, the judges said it was one of the hardest things they’ve ever had to do. And we can understand, just have a look at the level of detail in these cakes 
Each cake was a huge achievement and we can’t thank all our cake makers enough for their time and passion for cakes and the market 
Adult Cake Awards:
1st: Ornella with her amazing creation of our 20th anniversary market wagon.
2nd: Marie Zaire with her crate of fresh fruit and vegetables
3rd: Kate Nott with a market tote of produce including essential market coffee.
Shoppers Choice: Kate Nott!
Under 14s Category Awards:
1st: Layla for her basket of fruit and vegetables
2nd: Zavier for that incredible radish
3rd: Eden for the sweetest field of sheep we’ve ever seen
4th: The Akinci Family from Dilliro Produce for their market cupcakes. Did you see all the stallholder faces on the cupcakes?
And finally, our Shoppers Choice Award went to Majura Primary School! CRFM and Rotary Club of Hall have an important relationship with the incredible gardens and kitchen at the school and it was super impressive to see the entire senior school all get involved in some way to create this cake.
