Earlier this month, on our 1 November market day, we were thrilled to launch our very own cookbook. As part our tenth birthday celebrations, this cookbook is about sharing the stories and recipes of the people and produce who have made our Market what it is today.
Andrew Hollands, one of the original chefs who kicked off the valued forchefs program in conjunction with the Market, was on site to launch the book. And ACT Deputy Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, was also there to present certificates to a number of stallholders who have been with the Market over the past ten years.
There are plenty of delicious recipes for starters, soups, salads, sides, mains, cakes, biscuits, desserts and more, are all in the book and you can purchase your own copy from the Rotary Help Desk at the Market.
Retailing for just $20, copies will be available from now until Christmas. What a great present idea for the food lovers!
