We know our Market is loved by Canberrans and visitors alike but it’s extra nice when we are recognised by others, especially when it’s by the likes of Australian Traveller – they’ve just voted us in in their Australia’s 10 best farmers’ markets.

The well-loved Australian travel publication and website says farmers markets have become the “cornerstone of a foodie’s weekend (and a nicer way to get your groceries than the supermarket)’ and we completely agree.

We are thrilled to have been listed in their best 10 where they said about our Market – “The majority of produce at the market (excluding some specialty products) comes from less than 300 kilometres away”. Thanks Australian Traveller!
