We were extra lucky earlier this month to have special guest Minister Andrew Barr pop in to the Market to take part in our monthly cooking demonstrations with Regional Group Training. The ACT Deputy Chief Minister took part in a cooking demonstration featuring those loveliest of winter ingredients, the prized truffle. Minister Barr joined local chefs and their apprentices for a cooking demonstration that showcased local and seasonal produce from the Market, and showed our customers what they can do with these ingredients at home. We were most pleased to have Minister Barr onsite and welcome him back again in future. Cooking demonstrations with Regional Group Training continue to take place on the first Saturday of each month and are a great opportunity for local apprentices to get experience in cooking publicly, and learn how to verbalise their cooking practices to the Market audience.
