Local chocolate makers win big in London

Jasper and Myrtle Chocolate at the Capital Region Farmer's Market

We love it when our stallholders win awards, and this time around it’s a biggie with international awards won in London by local chocolate makers Jasper and Myrtle Chocolate. The Jasper and Myrtle team, headed by chief chocolate maker and owner Li Peng Monroe, have just won a gold and two silvers in the 2017 Academy of Chocolate Awards in London, where their chocolates competed against other chocolate entries from all over the world.

They scooped a gold for their Nunu Black Opal 80% Dark Chocolate, made with beans from a single farm in Bougainville, and the two silvers were for their Himalayan Rock Salt and Wakame Dark Chocolate, and their Caffe Bianco – white chocolate with coffee. Come in and try these delights for yourself. Congratulations go to Jasper and Myrtle!
