We are so excited to announce the Nothing compares to the first bite of a crisp, juicy, in-season apple. And when it comes from local orchards by regional farmers, it tastes even better.

In the hustle and bustle of the Market, there's a familiar voice that has echoed through the sheds for the past two decades. That voice belongs to Quentin from Jindebah Coffee, one of the original stallholders who has been with us since our inaugural market on 13 March 2004.

Meet some of our original stallholders, Peter and Caroline O’Clery from Homeleigh Grove. You may recognise them as they’ve been at Market almost every Saturday over the past two decades, selling their award-winning olive oil from Wallaroo. And did you know that Peter is also one of our original founders?

We are so excited to announce the arrival of figs for the season at Market. Bursting with flavour and delivered fresh by our stallholders, these are the first fruits of the season, and we’re so excited they’re back in abundance.  

In our 20th year of supporting the community, we’re taking a wander down memory lane and looking back at the beginnings of many of our favourite stallholders.

Every Saturday at the Market you can find an array of plants directly from the growers themselves. Our horticultural stallholders take pride in offering you the freshest and most resilient local natives and  introduced plants, cultivated to thrive in the Canberra environment.  

What better way to enjoy the essence of summer than with delicious in-season melons? Our Market is great for melon lovers, offering an amazing variety brought in by our fruit producers. From the classic, refreshing watermelons, including the interesting yellow ones, to rockmelons and sweet honeydew, our fresh, in-season melons are the perfect summer snack.
