This Week At Market
Let’s kick off your weekend with fresh produce from our local region and support our Aussie farmers.
If you haven’t already, be sure to meet our new citrus producer from Leeton – Gill Citrus! Gary is Mick Auddino’s next door neighbour and is taking over the reins to bring fresh oranges, mandarins and freshly squeezed juice to the market each week. You’ll find Gil Citrus in stall 47.
This week we’re welcoming back monthly stallholders Pepo Farms and Stone Dog Meadery as well as the fortnightly visit from the boys from Formichi Smallgoods.
Gum Tree Pies will also be returning as will Elswood Rare Plants, Farmer Brown Free Range Eggs and Windellama Organics.
Autumn produce is looking amazing with a great selection of figs, pomegranates and grapes and new season apples.

Getting to the Market
We’re located on the grounds of Exhibition Park In Canberra, Mitchell. Open every Saturday 7-11.30am.
Entry is via:
🟢 Old Well Station Road through the two gates – our Farmers Market Gate and the Double Gate Road into our carpark ONLY.
🟢via Northbourne Avenue/Federal Highway at Gate 4 (Service Station/McDonalds entry), turn right and follow road to Farmers Market Carpark.
🚶♂️🚴♂️ Pedestrian and Cycling access is available at Gate 4 (Service Station entry)
🚆 Light Rail Access: After getting off at Flemington Road stop, enter via Gate 1 (directly across from the light rail station) and walk around the ring road to the market.
🐕🦺 Please note that dogs are not permitted within the Market Shed (assistance dogs allowed) however they are more than welcome to hang out in Bicentennial Park directly next door.

Sample the region’s freshest produce at the Capital Region Farmers Market, a community project run by the Rotary Club of Hall.
This week we’re welcoming back Armanini Produce and John & Dora Andonaros with fresh asparagus, Formichi Smallgoods, Nanophire Microgreens, Randall’s Organic Rice, Gum Tree Pies, Yenda Strawberries, Cascades Nursery, Stonedog Meadery and NEW stallholder Salads Direct from Cobargo.
Getting to the Market
We’re located on the grounds of Exhibition Park In Canberra, Mitchell.
Entry is via:

⛔ There is NO access via the road through the Shipping Containers from Mitchell.

🚆 Light Rail Access: After getting off at Flemington Road stop, walk to the main entrance of EPIC and then follow the ring road up to the market (total 1km)
